Branding Design: Matthew 5:10

Phase #1

This project required me to select one beatitude from the Gospel of Matthew and imagine a brand centered on it. In this phase, I explored 20 different possible directions. I found myself drawn to designs that contrasted a serif font with a large, bold sans-serif.

Phase 2

In the second phase, I adapted my two chosen posters to see how they would function as a whole brand identity. I was intrigued by the one on the left because it felt more “artistic” than was typical for a brand, but in the end, I decided the one on the right had more flexibility. I integrated elements from both in the final version.

Phase #3

In the final phase, I took the final poster even further, creating a series of social posts and mockups. To make these efficiently and keep them cohesive, I made a series of elements that could be reused across the brand.
